It’s a rainy, grey Tuesday afternoon as I sit with (unshod) feet up on the ottoman, spaniel curled up against the leg not in a heavy black air cast.
I’m browsing the internet.
For shoes.
An odd thing, you might think, since one foot can’t wear them at the moment.
But you see, this air cast has a bit of a platform to it, lifting my left side and hip, which, unfortunately, was already a little higher than the right hip due. By the end of a day walking in flats, my left hip and calf ache. However, when I wear my (one and only) shoes with a platform/wedge, I’m well-balanced. (Probably the only thing about me that is well-balanced, but I digress.)
You may have noticed I said “one and only”. WHO can wear the same shoes day after day after day? I love them, but my feet foot needs a break from them it. Who am I to turn down an excuse to look for a new pair of shoes? (Since I obviously can’t buy just one….)
Here’s what I’ve pinned over the past few days…

Tom’s in a Wedge? Yes, please?

ModCloth’s “Special Treat” wedge – doesn’t this scream “summer”?

Heavenly Feet wedges – super comfy.

Another from Tom’s – the strappy wedge “Sierra”. My weak ankles love ankle straps.

Another from Fly London – LOVE these, love the yellow
To tell the truth, I still haven’t sorted out my UK/European size since moving here, so I don’t love buying online (I miss Zappos with their free shipping AND returns) but I do so love to browse!
And I do love a new pair of shoes….

Go for it Jenn. Buy a couple of them……
